How FundedWins collects, uses, and protects personal and trading data across the platform.
Information we collect
We collect personal identifiers (name, email, phone, address) during account registration and KYC verification. Trading data includes order history, fills, PnL metrics, and strategy patterns used for performance analysis and fraud detection. Device telemetry (IP address, browser type, session duration) helps us secure your account and optimize platform performance. Payment information is tokenized and stored by our PCI-compliant payment processors—we never store full card numbers. If you use social login (Google, Facebook), we receive only your public profile and email. All sensitive data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit via TLS 1.3.
How we use your data
Your data powers core services: account authentication, trade execution, payout processing, and customer support. We analyze trading patterns to detect rule violations, fraudulent behavior, and account abuse. Anonymized, aggregated metrics (like average win rate by tier) are used to improve challenge design and platform features. We send transactional emails (payout confirmations, account alerts) and optional marketing emails (new features, promotions)—you can opt out of marketing anytime. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers. Third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel) are used for usage insights, but we anonymize IP addresses and disable ad tracking.
Data sharing and disclosure
We share data with regulated broker partners (to execute trades and verify fills), KYC providers (for identity verification), and payment processors (for deposits and withdrawals). All vendors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and process data only as instructed. We may disclose data to law enforcement or regulatory authorities if legally required (subpoena, court order, AML investigation). In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the new entity—you'll be notified 30 days in advance. We never share data for marketing purposes without explicit consent.
Your rights and choices
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Submit requests via the account settings page or by emailing privacy@fundedwins.com. We'll respond within 15 business days. Some data (trading history, KYC records) must be retained for 7 years per financial regulations—deletion requests will anonymize this data but not erase it. You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or account settings. If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR: data portability, right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents have CCPA rights, including disclosure of data sold (we don't sell data) and the right to opt out of sharing.
Data security and retention
We employ industry-standard security measures: multi-factor authentication, encrypted databases, regular security audits, and SOC 2 compliance. Employee access to personal data is role-based and logged. In the event of a data breach, we'll notify affected users within 72 hours and provide remediation steps. We retain active account data indefinitely while your account is open. After account closure, most data is deleted within 90 days, except records required by law (trading history, KYC docs, financial transactions) which are archived for 7 years. Anonymized performance data may be retained longer for research and platform improvement.
